Cylence Ultra insecticidal ear tags control synthetic pyrethroid-susceptible buffalo flies, including organophosphate-resistant fly populations on beef and dairy cattle. Cylence Ultra contains betacyfluthrin, a synthetic pyrethroid (SP) insecticide with piperonyl butoxide, which acts as a synergist. The insecticides slowly release from the tag to protect cattle against buffalo flies for up to 4 months.
